Too much waste of good bags. I have a method of very quick and final dispatch: A table, a sheet of newspaper, rat by the tail, let it down on the paper still holding by tail in left hand, and then a good very hard rap behind the ears with a heavy iron bar, followed by heavy pressure by the bar and your weight in the same spot. Hardly ever even saw any blood and it's instant for the rat, more humane than if the snake were constricting it, for sure.
As to not getting your good shirt bloody: stop leaving your good new shirts on the floor while you pass by with a drippy rat.

Botis, the tree dwelling BP. LOL
Human Botis, blood stains let everyone know that you are a bad a s s.
I say wear the stained shirt with pride. Anyone who asks, tell them that you routinely hit guys in the nose, and this is just occasionaly a byproduct of being so bad a s s
