Cleaning blood :(
Soooo... my brand new, not yet worn $40 business shirt just got a few nice fat globs of rat blood on it. HOW do I get this off???
I went and soaked it for now and got as much off as I can but, its a white shirt with some designs on it so I cant put bleach on it.

Put a few globs of blood on some pants and say that it's the style.

cold cold cold cold water!
Pretreat with whatever laundry detergent you have (oxyclean is really good too) and scrub really good under cold cold water. Then I would wash it and if its still there when you get it out of the wash DO NOT DRY IT. At that point I would try a bleach pen (depending on the design) or clorox 2. Ive never used clorox 2, but I hear it works.

I saw this thread late, but agree with jen, super cold water, even ice cubes, rub it really hard into the stain. Now that it's been a day... you'd have to try the bleach. Cold water used right at the time of the stain gets out blood (and chocolate) like you wouldn't believe.

"A blood stain is orange after you wash it 3 or 4 times in the tub. But thats normal aint it Norman?"

simply put, the man is a lyrical genius. I met him once in Cali, a very small dude... I think he is half full of dooky too, but a genius none the less.
