Open Office 3
For those of you that don't want to pay hundreds of dollars for Microsoft's bloated and proprietary office suite, Open Office 3 was released today. It's compatible with Microsoft office, and costs $0.
I think their site is experiencing issues due to the high volume of download requests, but you can get it here:

I must tell my son about this, if he does not already know and is frantically downloading it. He hates everything Microsoft. He used to have linux and had to take it off because it was "incompatible" with WOW.

He sounds like a good kid.
Although, I never fully understood this whole WOW thing.

World of Warcraft (WOW) is an addictive online gaming community. I don't play it, personally...but Elizabeth & my sister in law do.

It sure is addictive! I call it insidious. My sons LOVE it and I have to keep reminding them of their real life and their obligations and studies.
But it sure looks interesting!
