I was actually thinking about this the other day when I was looking at some beautiful morphs that were in the 4000 price range (just window shopping) and I started thinking about even though they are so beautiful, I get the same thrill out of a $55 normal. I kinda would shy away from any high price ones, not saying it is wrong for those who want to pay that because I firmly believe that if it is something that you enjoy and desire, price doesn't matter. If you are willing to pay $10,000 for some special morph and you can afford it, have fun...just for me, a couple hundred is high enough, a thousand, maybe, but never, ever over that.

haha, david beat me to this post. the enigma and his girls combined were 5k, and that was davids bday present [i get a measly misting system] Most I would be WILLING to pay, if 15k - 20k for some New Zealand green live bearing geckos. You cant even PHOTOGRAPH them in the wild. 5k - 8k for live bearing Rhacodactylus [both sub species] 2k-3k for Grande Terre locales of leachianus leachianus... but those are like breeding pairs, of all the species, not individual animals. my list goes on and on and on and on hahaha.
