Everything you mentioned is covered in Zeitgest, and if you watch it youll see striking similarities. ZeitGeist is the 'original' of these massively long free online conspiracy movies. They even had a ZeitGeist day a few months back whered it played all over the world.

So, no I dont really think I need to watch this one... its a rip off of the original.

Now its been about 6 months since I watched ZeitGeist, but tell me how similar this is to your movie:

Starts off with something about religion, and power control through religion. Later leads into presidents and the free masons, etc. Secret societies [insert Illuminati, NWO, blah blah blah]. Then it goes into something about the federal banking system controlling the economy in some self-defeating mechanism that keeps us (commoners) permanently indebted. Then it goes into 9/11 and how it couldnt have been caused by a plane crash. With a million things in between, I dont remember it all.

Pretty accurate? Nothing but attempts at mass-hysteria. Forget it. Its just a beautiful converging of dozens of conspiracy theories that have been floating around chaotically for years. Sure, its pretty to look at for a few days, but then reality sets in and neither you nor I could change a #$!#$!#$!#$! thing even if the stuff were real.

When enough rich men decide they want something they get it. And the world keeps spinning.

botis...i agree with alot of what u said here.. BUT i will say this movie has some really good information about subjects that zeitgeist didnt even touch on...and i honestly think there should be MORE movies like zeitgeist and this one... even if they do seam far fetched they stimulate THOUGHT...which is why u think they are cool for a few days then u lose interest...its because we are lazy its easier to blow off as a conspiracy than to research and verify what is fact or fiction...

one thing that i liked about this movie is it tells u NOT to believe it...and to think for yourself and research the subjects yourself...that way u can see what they are stretching and what is actual fact...the stuff on genealogy is complete BS...anyone can trace back someones bloodline to someone important in history and they really stretched it out for bush and a few others... but the message is positive and encourages people to question authority and to educate yourself on this stuff rather than just ignore it...thats why those "rich men" have so much power..

Of course, when your trying to deliver a controversial message you would be wise to take the approach of "I know you think this is nonsense, but here is proof it isnt" throughout the entire lecture/presentation/etc.

Anyone trying to deliver a message to a wide audience that doesnt have proven factual backing would be crazy to come out and say "This is correct, its the way it is." [although schools do this quite a bit]

I actually understand quite a bit about cults and the like, its always been a fascination of mine. But I have to say, my father and his father were freemasons, and its not all dark and spooky like people think. Its just guys gathering at a lodge occasionally and complaining about the country, economy, black people, mexicans, yadda yadda.

If it has some fresh points from ZeitGeist ill watch it when I get a chance. Im not closed to new idea, I just find most of them easily dismissable. Sometimes not so easily dismissed, but simply because we dont understand something doesnt mean we should blame secret societies and the rich man.

there is alot of BS in life, and alot of stuff is hidden from us. There will likely never be a way to prove, or disprove the theories in these movies, so for now they are just entertainment

I may watch it eventually, but not right now. I hate watching things like that, because they get me too worked up. I tend to think about things TOO deeply, and wind up almost driving myself insane. Last time I watched something on "conspiracy theories" I got a degree in political science and wanted to go into politics. If I watch another one, I just may follow through with it in the hopes of "saving the world".
.
Sorry if that sounds "ignorant", but my mind runs 1000 miles an hour in every direction, 24-7, 365; sometimes ignorance is bliss if it saves you your sanity, even if just for a little while.

I remember it starting out pretty harsh on religion ya, then it goes into government, economy, current events, current and semi-recent catastrophies, bunch of other stuff.

I myself and atheist so I wasnt very offended by the beginning, but I could definately see how many people wouldnt like it.

I am also an atheist, but I prefer solid facts to back up information instead of just remotely coincidental. Like the long lists, that blurs past everything so fast that it doesnt give you specific examples. Could be bull for all you know. I am fascinated by myth and mythology. You should check out joseph cambell if you are interested in that sort of thing. He talks alot about how a variety of ancient civilizations and tribes had very similar stories, and what the stories mean and represent beyond the literal telling of it. Which I find interesting.

I watched the zeitgeist addendum as well, and I preferred that one, because it goes more into society without a monetary system, and freeing ourselves from economic slavery, alternative energy, and harnessing energies that could power the world for the rest of time.

Ah in reference to stories, that is interesting stuff.

Civilizations that could never have had contact with each other across the world all have stories of dragons, of speaking animals, of the great flood, etc.

Ill look into this Cambell guy.

Well its also interesting to consider that we all evolved from the same place, so it is possibly that we took the stories with us when we migrated to all the corners of the world.

After the fact, it's always easy to link things together and make connections to evil vile things. Doesn't mean "it" derived from this connection. Sometimes it's just coincidence. For instance, just because Santa and Satan are made up from the same letters, doesn't mean that the origin of Santa has anything to do with the Devil and even if it did then, it doesn't mean now that Moms and Dads are trying to introduce their children to Satan worship by taking them to see Santa....though I'm sure at least a few are.

Just because the original artists that drew our money put creepy eyeballs and pyramids and stuff linking them to the illuminati ...perhaps....doesn't mean that ...heck, come to think of it, I never really did get the point of all that.

GWBush is Prince Charles' 13th cousin? Woopie turtle! If I knew who my 13th cousin was, it would be a point of interest at best ...certainly not an influence.

Soooo here I am wondering why our government is trying to kill us with our food. Personally, I'm glad they are. Once again they are failing. We are living a lot longer these days. Population is still growing, not shrinking...so yeah...I'm glad it's them trying to kill us I still believe the moon walk was fake and that aids was released by conservative government to kill off the gay and drug using "liberals". And I believe that LBJ, the CIA and the FBI all had a lot to gain or at least a lot less to lose by the death of JFK.
