Louise, I love your signature. We should test it out. Soon. Maybe we could do it here. Anybody have any stairs we could borrow?

its post like these that show your immaturity and young age david and I in no way mean that in a negative way, so dont take it that way.
david you must learn that every species is beautiful in their own way, just because its not a deadly hot or rear fanged species, they are not worthless to the herp community. they all have their place some are more liked then others.
ball pythons are a great starter snake for people looking to get into reptiles, and for people who like their looks.
bps have a nice girth for their smaller size 3-4 feet although their is that rare 5-6 foot one every now and then. they are great for children to handle and get involved with to. we have a bp and when are daughter is 3 years old we will start letting her handle charlie our bp because he has a fantastic disposition, he wouldn't hurt a fly lol. i personally like their abstract alien head looking patterns, thats what drew me to them, i love the white underbelly on a black body with carmel spots down the spine and yellowish alien heads with black eyes lol. point is their is no reason to put down a snake because you dont like it or its not going to kill you
seems to me you want something that has the potential to kill you and you arnt going to be happy until you get it.
all of these repetitive post from forum to forum to forum to forum to forum are getting honestly quite old, everyone is going to give you the same answer you don't want to hear every time. no matter how many times you tell a frog to be a fish its will still be a frog.
all i can say is enjoy your child hood and quite being in such a hurry to grow up, lifes to short to get entangled in all this crazy stuff and bad emotional based decisions rather than educated thought out planned out decisions.
you have to think about your future, are you going to get married, have kids, move out, go to college,
what are you going to pay for everything with if you go to college
who are you going to dump your hotts on to if you have kids, or are you going to jeopardize the safety of your children.
there are a million things to think about
in the end do what you feel you should do as none of us can change or alter what you are going to do but the wise ones here have no alternative motive with you they are just trying to help.
believe it or not.

I love my balls quit picking on them lol no really david you already know how I feel but seriously... BP's are a great snake to have for starters.... I would never trade our BP charlie for anything... (maybe another HUMAN baby j/k one is enough for now) They are not as active as some snakes but thats what makes them a great pet... they are slow and easy for say... children to care for. Come on... lets keep this to rear fang species not picking on constrictors...
