Yeah, profit must play a part there. It is sad actually.
David, if you wake up and find a regurge from a feeding 3 days ago. How do you determine whose? Diseases, feeding mishaps, territorial feuding.....etc....... Why would you house together when there are so many downsides, and no viable upside?

Logical? What snakes in the wild live together, hunt together and *cough *cough "play" together?
But hey, they're under your care. So I guess do whatever makes you happy, regardless of what would be best for them.

You should know you'll be flamed. Especially when you boast about doing irresponsible things on a site that promotes responsibility.
If the majority of the people on this site disagree with your husbandry techniques, and you are unwilling to take advice, maybe you should try another forum.

In addition to cannibalism-regurge-death, there is also the risk of them just biting one another. Snakes frequently break of teeth when they bite, and any foreign object can and will eventually cause an abscess, which means expensive vet bills, medicating the animals, etc.
Look, anything that can pose ANY threat to the life of the animal that you are responsible for, can HARDLY be considered to be "responsible husbandry".
David, If you dont want to be here, and play by our rules, then get out of the sand box. We will not tolerate you promoting life threatening husbandry as acceptable behavior here. Housing multiple snakes together with risk of killing one or both of them, is on the exact same level of feeding them live rats and leaving it in for a few days.
ball python that has been regurgitated

And colubrids can also be cannibals, it is far from limited to boids. Ever wonder how a "kingsnake" got its name??
