Did you actually look at the pictures on my reply? It appears as though the evidence doesn't matter. You see it for yourself that snakes that aren't technically considered cannibalistic (including colubrids) still can and will eat each other. That alone after being shown should be enough to cull out the idea of communal housing.
So I say again. I appears as though this thread was NOT to get ideas and opinions on communal housing but was to help you to find support for something you obviously knew most people dissagree with. That is why I tried to nip this thread in the bud when it started. You knew the answer before you started it but were hoping someone would tell you what you really wanted to hear (which in this case happens to be that snakes who live togeher do well).
This is not a flame, just an observation.
