I think it depends. Personally I do not like it, and am not down with it, but I have 2 ball pythons together. They are my parents snakes, and a rack is being built so I can split em up, I havent had any problems, but there is far higher risk of problems. Once these guys are split up, I wont be doing it again

Two words......"BAD IDEA"
Please don't chime in with all of the people you know that work as such and such a spot that say it is ok. It isn't.

With the exception of breeding practices, no. No I don't feel it's okay.

Let me explain my last statement. This is an issue that has been harped on on MANY different forums, over many years. Generally, when this topic comes up, it is to try to support doing it when it is understood that the reptile community frowns upon it. This ineveitably leads to a debate/arguement. We have seen many of these types of threads started by you "david" over the past couple of weeks that end up being flame wars. Somehow I am pretty sure you have either asked this before or have been involved in similar threads. So lets not get too much of an arguement started where you say to those who will inevitably say it is not a good idea that according you your "research" and the knowlege of you "mentors" that keeping snakes communally is a good idea.

How come you assume a mentor told me this. My mentor is a great man and does not house snakes together. Please dont assume. We all know what that means
