Crickets
If I buy 30-40 of these guys will they live at least a week? I only need enough for one scorpion to eat. I figure half of em die that still leaves 20 a week which is more then enough.

You can buy a cricket keeper and cricket food/water and they should be fine for a week or two just a warning the tend to smell bad.

Hrmm, how bad? Theyll actually be staying in my room.
Will they outweigh the smell of the rats I keep in here? lol
I actually have a oversized 55 gallon vertical I was going to store them in.
I figure Ill throw down some newspaper and put in orange slices every day for calcium and water. Then grind up fish food/cat food/oatmeal for gut load.
Ill probably just take out the newspaper every 1-2 days. THink that will control the scent?

Crickets in your room............hhmmmm..........they do have a unique odor.
If you keep them hydrated and fed they will live for weeks...........if you buy small crickets they will last for a very long time.
Make sure to feed them what you know is safe for your critter to eat.

I had 2 - 3 dozen at a time when I keep crickets and the small wasn't horrible but if you keep them clean you wont have a problem and what you plan to feed them sounds good if you have problems keeping them alive go to the pet store and buy the food and water gel for them good luck!!
