Gut load

Ok so heres my concoction.

cherios, wheat, dehydrated apricot slices, calcium tablets (antacid pills), goldfish food, cat food, sunflower seeds, fennel seeds.

2:1:1:1:2:1:1:1 respectively

Sound good? Thats about 100% calcium and 50% protein. Ill also keep a potato slice or orange slice in there on a day to day basis.

HAHAHA... That's quite a recipe. It's so much of a recipe I dont even know what it's a gut load for. Whatever it is, it eats better than I do. lol

I personally dig the processed/manufactured gutload stuff. different companies make different kinds.

but if you are into the homemade recipe thing, i am sure that is overkill. I didnt even know crickets ate seeds.

Haha yah I like cooking and #$!#$!#$!#$! so I kinda go overkill on rat food and #$!#$!#$!#$!.

I am going to grind it all up into a chunky powder. Its for my scorpion, definite overkill but hey why not? lol

Ya my pets eat better then I do lol, kinda sad really.

Even rats I feed my snakes get monitored for a week and fed my special stew. I dont need my snakes spewing mucus all over the place and dying... really scary concept.

Yeah, I'm jealous of my iguana. I spend 15 minutes a day making his veggie/fruit salad. Then I look around for something to eat and end up with some stale pretzels and an old pop tart.

LOL, ya half the fun of my guinea pigs is making them little meals every so often. Freakin animals man. They expect to be pampered just cuz we drag them out of the wild and put them in tiny little rooms lol.

LOL...........too funny............that is how I feel when I feed my Beardies and my Sugar Glider.............if I ate as healthy as they do..........I would live forever...........lol.............
