when i kill my rats for freezing, i put them in a pillow case. tie a not at one end. swing it over head then down to hard surface. guaranteed dead, so if needed for a pre-killed but usually go into a zip lock bag, then the air gets suctioned out and then stored.
have one of those air remover things.

Oh god, that is horrible, I have never seen something like that before we feed all frozen unless our balls decide to refuse frozen then they get pre killed, never live that is sick!

i have 2 red tail boas and i feed live rats and seeing what could happen 2 them i want to know how 2 switch to died rats can u help

the first step is admission wait thats AA wrong thread,
well first try a F/t see how that goes if it epic fails then move onto step to
try a smaller prekilled followed by a frozen if that fails
try a frozen dipped in chicken broth if that fails
get some bedding and poop from a live one rub the frozen one in that if that fails
get a live one put it in a box with holes put that in the cage then offer a frozen that should trigger a response.
if that fails grab some strong liquor take some shots wait a week and start over.
