Thumbs up Field herping in the yard yesterday.

.. it's a female Sceloporus olivaceous preparing a nest-hole beside the walk near the door to the snake-room. Here's more.

It took her several hours to finish the job and cover the nest. She paid little attentionn to me. The Texas spiny lizards can live for several years and they get to accustomed to people.
