Thats scary, and awesome. I wish I could walk outside and go herping. But around here they have pretty much paved over everything.

Dry and Hot...hmmm was that a play on words? Or just a coincidence that herping on a "dry hot" day produced a drymarchon and a hot?

Thanks.. I want to add something here about these great animals and herping and more..
.
Lots of hot-shot day-herpers come to South Texas and see an Indigo snake or a few rattlers.. 'been there, done that'.. they ain't done dookey.. Observing these great animals over many years.. seeing how they use the habitat during all periods of weather and seasons, that's an entirely different level of herping.. I wish more people had the opportunity to experience it. If they did then maybe my long time friends ( a couple of which are pictured here) would have a future and not be just paved over..
.
Bye bye my good friends! The tract houses and industrial parks that replace you all too soon will be no equitable trade! :(
