Question Worried about Tiny

Well, I mentioned about a month and a half ago that Tiny was holding onto a rat and wasn't swallowing it. Just a hit and wrap and then a hold in the mouth with no effort made to consume it. Well it is two feeds later and she has done the same things both of the other times. Also, I had to peel her last shed and this time she came out of blue over a week ago and no effort has been made to slough off the skin. Has anyone ever heared of such a lack of motivation before? Acting quite strange (especially for her) as her feed response is generally pretty agressive and she HATES unshed skin. I have seen her go nuts trying to get it off. Any feedback would be appreciated.

The wrap and then hold in the mouth but not swallow thing, I've seen a couple of times. Outcome did not vary and I'm afraid it didn't end happy. Maybe I missed something so I'm not going to give advice or declare doom. If you or your vet can work through this somehow, I would greatly appreciate some shared information. My belief is that it's neurological in nature but I have nothing to prove it. Watch for biting herself on the side and wrapping an imaginary rat. That came a little later in both cases I had.

Are you going to take her to the vet for blood work? I hope it turns out okay! I know you've been worried about her for a while.

One had shedding issues near the end (burm) shed was flaky so I got him out and soaked and found that there were actually 2 sheds coming off...The other (Ball python) actually had a perfect shed about a day or two before things went completely south. The burm (Max) was a couple of years ago. The ball python was many years ago...like 8 or 10 maybe?

Actually, a response from Jeff over at KS seemed to have similar outcomes as to what you were saying :( Not looking good.
