anyone in the Washington area have vet suggestions for the Kent, Renton, Tacoma area? I know angleboa had a vet in Bothel but that is a little far for me to travel.

your welcome i found that web site and thats how i found my new vet i love that the vet can put comments on it and people who have used the vet can also put up comments. if you know a good vet not on the site you can have them added

Just to clear up the ARAV certification. Any vet can buy it and you will be sent a journal every week much like belonging to an herpsociety. It does not mean you are any better trained, than a vet not ARAV certified. After my vet told me this I was shocked, and checked it with the ARAV promoters at a local herp show. They confirmed this. Not being ARAV certified can be as simple as not paying your annual dues, it has nothing to do with knowledge.

State or DC? I have been trying to get a Herp Vet BOI going for awhile. I have some near DC listed but nothing anywhere Washington State. Like raze said...ARAV is about as pot luck as driving down the road looking for just any vet office. I'm trying to compile a list based on people's personal experiences. Here's the link to my BOI forum. See if anything is close to you. Make sure and read the post though. They aren't all references. There are good guy AND bad guy posts.
