Question, tub users
I bought a big Christmas tree storage "tub" from WalMart. A friend of mine uses one for his retic. This new one smells pretty strongly of plastic. Is that OK, or do I need to wash it out several times???

I always air out tubs and wash them a couple of times before putting any snakes in. Little bit of gentle soap and water and a few days of airing out works wonders!

Thanks. Why don't they wash them before they sell them? Who wants their tree...or their snake to smell like plastic?

That'll be nice for him. I agree.. wash it out well. Some bleach water might help with the smell.. but be sure to let it air out for a day before use.
