Bulk snake aspen supplier?
Does anyone know of a bulk supplier of the aspen shavings for snakes?
I dont really feel like mucho overpaying for the Zoo-med stuff that barely covers the enclosure.

Akshully, I specifically remember Razeraze and other good monitor owners making it known that young (and adult) monitors, especially Boscs, need at least 10"-12" deep of a 50% Top soil and 50% play sand mix. They need a nice moist substrate to hold burrows. They're burrowing amimals. What'dya think those freaking huge claws are for? lol
I don't mean to link to another forum but
sav enclosure - Redtailboa.net
Bill Walsh and Xeike give some good advice on substrate.

As for Bulk Aspen, I really couldn't help cause I'm not in the area.
There is a grocery store here that sells fairly large bags of it here for $5.
