Ive used a bleach solution as well as the clorex wipes. The only thing is it takes a wjile bc I clean, wipe with paper towels, then re wipe with towels then let air dry for aabout 2 hours to ensure the bleach andsmell are gone. I am looking for a process of taking paer out, quick clean and putting new paper in... less that 20 min would rock.

the clorox wipes have a warning in tiny print that says hazard to human and domesticated animals. I know the whole * snakes are wild animals and can never be tamed....yadda yadda yadda* but for all intensive purposes I consider them domesticated animals. Hence the long wait for solution and smaell to dissipate. BUT I do use them and so far I have had no problems.
WARNING: USING BLEACH WIPES IS NOT THE SAFEST WAY TO CLEAN CAGES BUT CAN BE ACCOMPLISHED WITH PROPER CARE
there now if some lurker comes by and sees me saying I use bleach wpes and kills his snake I accept no blame.
Gotta love loopholes lol.

We used to use antibacterial soap until we read parasite rex. Antibacterial soap kills good bacteria on you and your animals weakening your immune systems. Again much like the keeping it too clean.
We have used bleach wipes, then we dry it really good after words and it does not need to air out. How ever now we use a 1- 15 (bleach to water) part bleach solution we mix our selves and pour into a sprayer. We just spray and wipe it out with a dry rag.

For 4 of my snakes I use paper towels in thick layers. When they go I just take them out, disinfect the cage and replace them. Takes 10 minutes per cage or so. For the 5th, I use fully dried out EcoEarth. This means that it is SUPER absorbant. I just have to scoop out the poop and remix the substrate a little.

I forget what it's called (my bottle busted and I had to put it in another sprayer), they sell some stuff at PetCo that is essentially just a household cleaner but made for reptile cage cleaning. I spray it in, let it sit then wipe it out real good. Def make sure you let it air out first, it's pretty strong smelling.

and it only takes you ~10 minutes for your paper cage ( take paper out, clean, dry/air out, re-paper and replace snake)

Yeah. Fast and efficient. My cages aren't bare either...Now the BIG cage (6'x2'x18" holding a very pissy 5' CCP) takes ALOT longer than that. probably 20-30 minutes at LEAST. The 3 smaller ones have snakes that are a year old and younger so they are still in smaller cages.

I use Apple Cider Vinegar, watered down of course. It works great for a quick clean up and is CHEMICAL FREE!! No, its not sticky when it dries and doesn't leave streaks on glass. Gets rid of bacteria and smell. A couple of minutes to air out, thats it. You could use regular vinegar also, but personally the smell of that stuff makes me wanna retch.
