It may not smell great, but poop smells far worse. I hear regurge is INFINITELY worse but I have never had to smell it.

A bleach solution of 1-15 instead of 1-10 by volume will have almost no smell and still disinfect. Just be sure to dry it out with a rag.

Big cages and big water bins you come up with a few tricks. Then you pour it into a spray bottle and get to cleaning.

Chlorhexidine (Novalsan) is great for herps...

I use newspaper, if you put enough layers it will absorb most of the liquid.

As far as cleaning, I use Chlorhexidine which is generic Novalsan. This is a veterinary disinfectant, a blue liquid that comes in a gallon bottle for less than $20 shipped. I dilute it 2 tablespoons to a gallon of distilled water. So a gallon of solution will make many, many gallons of cleaning spray.

I just spray it in the cage, let it sit for a few minutes and wipe it around a bit. It smells kind of soapy but is safe for reptiles...I wipe out as much as I can, put new paper and am done. I feel this is much less toxic than bleach, I've used diluted bleach in the past but never really trusted it.

This is where I get it from:
