Cages Cages and guess what.... more Cages

I just thought it would be interetsingto see what kind of cages everyone uses for their snakes. Plus it could be a good place for new herpers to get info on cages and such.

I use Jungle Habitats Plastics 421 (48x24x12) cages for my boas. Well Hannya is in one, Kira is in one. I have an empty one at the moment because I need to replace some bolts on the hinges for security and have a black one on the way for Princess my albino. I really like then becuse they are reletivly lightweight, strong, hold heat and humidity great and are easy to clean up. He just "re-designed" them and added better hinges and turn locks.
I think they are relativly comparably priced at about $220.

I am an Animal Plastics fan myself. I use the T25's and T10's for my adults (just some critter cages in the 40 breeder variety for my juviniles) ane my neo rack is an Animal Plastics EP rack

Most of my snakes are in aquariums, a few are in kritter keepers for now, once they get bigger I will move them into tanks. I am moving my ball pythons into rubbermaids soon to help with hummidity.

When I go to order any good caging, I'll hit up Alan Hall @ Jungle Habitats. I really like Alan, he's a nice guy, and takes great pride in his business. Right now I have my animals in tanks, but I have one that is a tank conversion with a hinged, locking plexi lid. The igs are in homemade custom cages, look like crap, but serves the purpose for now. When they reach a larger size I will really do something neat.
