New to site..
Hi everyone!
I am new to this site, but not new to reptiles. I've been keeping and breeding snakes for the better part of 20 years. I've owned many different species over the years and always come back to the Australian pythons.
I currently keep 28 snakes:
16 ball pythons
7 carpet pythons (Centralian, Jungle, Irian Jaya, IJxJag sibs)
3 boas (Hog island, Sonoran and Kenyan)
1 Texas rat snake
1 Bullsnake
I've cared for or kept lots of other species including corns, burmese pythons, water and spotted pythons, hognose, kingsnakes and milksnakes.
Snakes are definitely my passion and I have no plans of not having one anytime in the future. I also am involved with halfway housing and working with the adoption committee of our local herp society.
Nice to meet you all!

thanks much! I look forward to being here. I'll see what I can do to get more pics up. Hopefully someone here will have an idea about the boa I just adopted from our herp society. It was abandoned in an apartment along with a bunch of younger boas so I have NO idea what type "she" is (not sure of sex yet, I'll probe her after she digests her last rat a bit). It's quite possible she is just a mutt. Either way, she's pretty and I like her. She's quite dark which are my favorite types of boas.

RE: New to site..
Great looking snakes. I'm in love with JCP's. I have two of my own.
Question - Are Centralian Pythons the same thing as Bredl's?

Yes, they are: Morelia bredli
I was SO happy to see they had come down in price and luckily we have one of the main breeders of this species in Washington. When I saw he had some for sale, I jumped on the chance to pick them up. They're some of my favorite pythons and I can't wait for them to get big. They're currently just over 100 grams and eating rat pups once or twice a week.
I'm hoping to be able to breed them in 3-4 years
