I'll be back...

Hey folks, I will be gone for a bit... I got 'employee of the year' last year and part of my bonus is a weeks paid vacation, so darn it, I'm taking it! I will be out all next week and I only have internet at work. So that means I'll come back to 4,567 unread posts.

There's a couple stray cats at my work and I've been trying to catch this one young female so I could get her fixed. She showed up this week suddenly very pregnant. In my best George Takei: "Oh My!" So I finally caught her yesterday and she's chillin' in my bathroom at home. Not sure what to do with her yet, knowing me, I'll keep her... even though we just got a new cat. Anyways, I am rambling... but if anyone here in the Bay Area was thinking of getting a kitten in the next few months... let me know. Kittens do NOT make good snake food so don't even ask. (My dad's buddy tried to feed a kitten to his burm back in the 70's and ended up with a badly scared kitten and a burmese python missing two eyes.)

So.. I am rambling again. It's Friday and I'm looking forward to taking time off work but will miss hanging out at this site. I will have RTC withdrawls! See you soon...

You stray cat people....really! Who will care for her while you are away? I know you are a Responsible Keeper so I know she will be OK!

What got you Employee of the Year? What do you work at? That's quite an achievement. Where are you going for your vacation? Don't come to Jamaica yet, hurricane season is not over.

I wish I could go to Jamaica! One of these days I hope. I work in customer service at a packaging distribution company (I know, a real glammor job!). I basically just worked really hard and did a lot of unpaid overtime. However, we're not going anywhere for the vacation, just enjoy the time off and stay at home. Probably go camping for a few nights locally at Lake Chabot, maybe go bowling and see a movie. I'm pretty simple. Kitties and snakes won't get left alone for more than a night at a time. It looks like I found a home for one of the kittens that may be here soon, so yay for that!

Since I'll be at home for so many hours every day, that probably means there will be a ton of new pics to post when I'm back online. You've been warned!
