I confess that I only looked at one pic but that looks like a flying one to me. It has the extra web of skin that runs on it's side. They are amazing to watch. When we lived in GA we had a group(colony? gaggle? pack? herd?????) of them that lived in the woods not far from our house. They would climb up the bricks and jump from the top of the roof and glide into the woods, trees, or to the yard. It looked like the young ones did it just for fun because one might do it over and over again like a kid going down a slide.
Two warnings though, you may be breaking local or state laws by keeping it. Watch who you tell (other then the world you just have) and you might want to quietly check into your wildlife laws for your area. The other warning is that these guys can be very, very destructive if they get bored. like extremely destructive, like ripping a hole in the attic destructive and basically leaving it look like a frat party was just broken up! Trust me I have seen it. They are very curious and fun to watch. I never thought of owning one, but I bet it would be quite fun! Good luck!

my wife has 2 sugar gliders that look so much like that lol, only a differant color. Good luck with it. Not sure if they are build exactly the same but wow do the sugar gliders have a grip. Like leaving marks on your finger kinda grip.....like KUNG FU grip ( yes I'm an 80's kid)
