Mountain Tamalpais and Stinson Beach
I was going to post more reptile pictures from the store called, "A Reptile Room" but it was so disgusting that I decided against it. I found three dead baby water monitors, a few dead baby retics, many snakes shedding in pieces, cages with at least two months worth of waste in it, and so on.
Instead, you get my trip this morning to the top of Mountain Tamalpais.
No pictures of me this time, I'm still swollen, bruised, and cut up and the cold weather did not make me look any better. It was just a small walk around, I should be staying home but it's hard for me to do that. Ollie is feeling a lot better and a lot of his soreness is gone so this was a good breather for him.
Stinson Beach:
I think this is my favorite face he makes.
Mountain Tamalpais
I'm disappointed that a lot came out bad. It was cloudy with no light, and the flash wasn't working. So 99% came out blurry, this one is halfway decent but still bad unfortunately.
I love this one.

Awesome pictures Stalk. You are really swaying me into huskies. You need to take pics of the "reptile room" and call the animal control. That is just horrible.

There's several people who have already filed complaints, but as far as I know, there is nothing that can be done legally other than word of mouth bad reputation. Unfortunately when reptile keepers are mostly children and ignorant parents, it does little good.
I warn anyone I can about the store, though. I wish I knew their online alias because I am sure they are 90% online 10% retail, they have so many retics, burmese, boas that are gravid all the time and I see so many that disappear fast and I doubt it's people buying retail.
That way I could at least stop people from buying their online store.

I had animal control go into a place, and it cleaned up rather well. Make a call and offer to go with if the officer is not great with reptile husbandry. Take some pictures as proof as well.

Hmm. I'm friends with the director of the local animal rescue, I'll talk to her to see what the best course of action is. She was very big on stopping backyard breeders and pet stores that sell dog and cats and now it's illegal in this area, so I am sure she can help out. She knows of my reptiles and thinks it's very cool.

Awesome. The same laws concerning clean environment and fresh water apply to reptiles just as it does to mammals. Please let me know what happens.
