- I have a ball python pair, a mali uromastyx pair and am expecting my first clutch of ball python eggs to hatch any day now! I raise spiny mice (really cool) as feeders. They are so cool, in fact, you have to have a special license to breed, sell, trade or even give these guys away. Because I breed to feed (not to sell) I do not have to have the license. They eat a mix of mouse food and lizard food (I never say a mouse eat pok choi or meal worms before). Because they are vicious when being a
