His cage is 49sq ft with 2 large hides and a water bin big enough to soak in. He also has 18-30 inches of soil in his cage. Air temps range from 80-86F and surface temps range from 74-140F. Name:Tank
Age:3
Gender: male
Size: 3 feet
Species:Varanus exanthematicus Bosc
Origin:Africa
Other details:He was adopted out to us from a local petco because he was mean. We have had him for 3 years and he is the nicest lizard imaginable. He even learned to come to a clicker or being called. His cage has 12+ inches of dirt, and a water bin big enough for him to soak in. His humidity stays between 50-70% and air temps stay between 80-86F. Surface temps range from 140-74F. He has multiple hides and is a picky eater as of lately. He used to eat mice, crickets, roaches, hornworms, mealworms, chics, eggs, and other whole prey for the first 2 years. Lately all he will eat is crickets, and beef cubes.

Name: Manumana
Age: deceased
Gender:female
Size: 5 feet
Species: varanus salvator
Origin: Asia and Indonesia
Other details: My favorite species of monitor. Unfortunately she passed away. Her diet consisted of all whole prey, including fish, chicken, rats, quail, prawns, eggs and ground turkey diet (san diego zoo diet). This species has be recorded to hit 7-10 feet. They are great scavengers and some tribes even allowed salvators to eat the remains of their dead tribesman.
