nile monitor
here is the nile i gave to a friend, went over for a visit yesterday and took just one pic. when i hold him/her he sits ther doesnt move when my friend holds it he tries to get away. is that weird?

well i was gonna keep him but my friend is a friend of my fathers that had monitors before. he doesnt try to bite or wipe or nothing i dunno why he does it. i think my ferret is more work lol.

A ferret is possibly more work from a certain standpoint than a baby monitor, but an adult monitor.....:glare:

He looks a little dehydrated (wrinkles all over the body and dusty dry coloration)
Be sure your friend provides a large water dish and keeps the humidity around 70%. It is still early so this could be from the previous keepers, before you took it in but something to keep an eye on.

ya when i got him he was ugly lookin like seriously so skinny didnt even move much. my vet wasnt in so the first thing i did was just gave him a nice soaking. after that i would see if he woud eat he ate like 3 pinkies. i think the wrinkles are the way im holding him. but now he is really nile material. swipes his tail at onyone near his cage what a great little guy
