I put this one on a diet because she started getting those yucky scale creases, but then I give in every two weeks when she starts roaming her cage for food. Actually, she starts doing that about 5-6 days after a feeding but I won't feed her that soon.

yea our burm gets rambunctious about 5 or 6 days after feeding her, we make her go another week before we feed her.

If we only judged our selves like we judge our snakes. I am so tired of this fat discussion and nobody having any real proof of anything. You all talk about your snakes like a their a bunch of teenage girls with anorexia.

Raze there is no point in us getting into that discussion again. We share different views on the "feeding" issue and should leave it at that.

i judge myself worse than my snakes lol, as soon as i start getting some fat i cut all fattening foods, exercise more, ect until i feel comfortable again, then i crack open some pop and chocolates and start all over again lol.
i dont think thier is anything wrong with watching and carring to prevent a obese snake as that is not healthy. i dont know exactly what just happened between you to and dont know what point was trying to be made but i will leave it at that
monitoring your animals intake is our responsibility.

Just two herpers with differing views on feeding. Nothing more than that. I'm sure there are a few threads around here somewhere when we have debated the issue. I don't think this neat "monster pics" thread should get side tracked on it. That's all.
