Yeah, I went down there today and got it. I took it for a spin when I got back. It's actually not much quicker than my 1000 gixer. But this one can destroy it on high end And for a 1300cc, it's not much heavier than my 93 gixer. I think it's only like 30 lbs heavier. It's a sweet ride.
Lot of custom work on it.

Yeah I think skyline is more appropriate lol. It's a pretty slick bike. I'm glad I bought it, but it's supposed to rain all week. :( Though that's never really stopped me now that I think about it lol

The added weight makes it a lot more comfy on the street, doesn't it? Is the engine modded? Really nice looking bike. Congrats!! Oh, and fwiw, I'm not a bit worried about you crashing it. Rider safety is all about attitude. I haven't had a ticket or accident in over 20 years. All the accidents "back in the day" were my fault. It's just part of the learning process. You should drag race it one of these days. It's fun!!!!!
Is that a dual exhaust? How does that sound? I'd really like to do something with my exhaust.

Yeah, more weight seems to help absorb road bumps a little better. From my experience anyways.
As for the engine, it has a Dynojet Power Commander, which squeezes out more bhp, improves throttle response and helps optimize fuel consumption. A K&N Hayabusa Turbo Airfilter. A Bosch Fuel Pump. The exhaust is stock (dual pipes) but there are new Akrapovic carbon silencers on both. Still pretty loud even with that.
I'm going to swap it out next summer to a single pipe conversion. I like that look better and you can generate a little more power out of the bike too.

So it's probably running a little more than 175bhp now that I think about it .
I've been riding for about 10 years and I've never wrecked. I've dropped and dumped my old Ninja 100's of times in my driveway but that's because I was teaching myself to do stupid things
.
I'm a responsible rider.
