and the thing about pits being illegal in some areas.... i own a pit myself...and i hate to say it but i agree with them being illegal in some areas....its not the dogs that are mean...it is the people that are breeding them for the wrong reasons...and in some areas thats ALL people do...so even though they are AWESOME dogs (my best friend is a pitbull :P) its necessary to keep people in check...

It's so nice to see the majority of people here seem to understand the plight of the Pit Bull and realize they are not monsters, but typically very loyal, wonderful dogs. Of course, people around on this forum are also familiar with uneducated biases =)
