Thanks! She's only had two weeks with it, so she's very unsteady on it. Still, I think it gives her some confidence to know that leg reaches all the way to the floor! 
The shirt came from Wal-mart. That's one of many funny one's she's received while she's been ill... My favorite is still "The people that drive me nuts the most...are in my own family!". So true.

Nice...how is the whole walking thing coming along. Looks like it would take a h*** of alot of practice to make it work.

It's going to be a challenge for her.... but she CAN put weight on it, and when she concentrates, she can take steps on it. She will have to re-train her ankle to work as a knee, so all the movements will be backwards. The docs say her brain will make the connection, and then it will be like a normal knee. I was just happy to see her standing up... it's been a long time, almost 9 months. |
