80% Irish? No Way!! Where are your family originally from? Maybe its too personal a question, but what is your famly surname? I always find it funny how Irish names get changed to be phonetically correct in America! Things like Obama......Originally here would have been O'Beama, theres loads of others, even first names like colleen, orininally Cailin, just means "Girl" in Irish!! Haha, if anyone just wants some Irish language lessons let me know, the phonetics of the language will blow your mind!! :cursing:

Ha, If you look closely I'm a borderline ginger!! My sister and brother are ginge, and half my family, I guess I just got lucky!! Contrary to what you might think, there are very few redheads here, well when I say very few, I would guesstimate maybe 5-10% of people at the most!

Thanks for the treat of beautiful Irish landscapes. I have acnestors that were Irish. One was McCarthy - but that sounds more Scots! I also have Scots ancestors named McNish and McCulloch and Luke and Harris....but I was born here in Jamaica and lived here all my life.
Ireland is my choice to live after Australia, if I could.
