Thanks guys...BCA are a smaller subspecies. The females max out at around 6' and the males 5'

Only 5' for males you say? hm....

Yep! They stay smaller(but they do gain some very thick mass, almost the body structure of a blood python), and these two are just as sweet as any boas I've ever handled. What's nice also, is the affordability of Amarali these days! When I first got into the hobby in the mid 90s, BCA babies were in the $1000-$1500 range, now through some really good national breeders and more understanding of this subspecies, the prices have come way down

Dang! Thats quite a price tag. But they sure are pretty boas.

I like the smaller subspecies. 5-5 1/2' is a good size for me

they've come down a bunch though..expect to pay anywhere from $250-$500 for a BCA baby these days!
