They look very nice but there is a really dark side to albino retics and other albinos that should make keepers think whether their cool colors are worth the cost of an animals health. JuliusSqueezer has posted a lot of information about the albonism trait on a couple other sites and those readings ready changed the way I see Albinos.

The pied is my favorite. I love the look of these guys... like someone started painting them, and forgot to finish!

Yes really. This is not new information. It has been known for a while that animals caring the albonism trait usually live shorter lives than their normal counterparts, are more susceptable to disease due to a weakened immune system, are more prone to be born with deformities "It is not uncommon to see albinos with one eye or no eyes", more prone to skin diseases, the sheer amount of inbreeding that takes place "especially with albino retics, and the lisk goes on. I have an albino burm that I love dearly but if I knew back then what I know now I would have never used my money to help support the sickening market of breeding and selling albinos.
This is the first time I encountered the truth about albinos. Just ask any good doctor about albonism and he will give you the complete low down.
