Pics from the San Jose Reptile Show part3
Last pics!
Woma, there were actually quite a few of these
GTP being handled, this drew a big crowd, not a good pic though
One of the absolute highlights for me was being able to hold this gorgeous chocolate head black headed python. One of my dream snakes.

Isn’t he wonderful?

Some kids starting grabbing his tail behind my back, I wasn’t too happy with them. Lol
Of course it wasn’t all just snakes:

Giant Pixie Frog

Peach Throat Monitor

We snapped this pic of the large cayman iguana before realizing there was a fee, oops!

Mata Mata

Conjoined turtles

This is a bad pic, but I thought it looked neat, they look like little dinosaurs. Rawr!
Hope you enjoyed the pics as much as I enjoyed the show!

Take care,
-April

I'm hoping to make the Sac Show, I've never been to that one before.

No, I'm sorry, I don't remember. There were a few vendors with monitors but that was the only one in a display instead of coiled in a deli cup.

It was one of the larger ones I've seen as well. The vendor said his adult female has a nice black head (this male has a more deep chocolate brown head). He also imported some het albino BHPs from Europe (the albinos are 100K right now). I hope in a few years to be able to afford a BHP or two.. one day! He was really an awesome snake, very stong but incredibly laid back at the same time. Different than holding a boa, almost like a retic or an oversized colubrid. I was drooling when holding him! lol
