Just A Few More Of My Serpents (& Tortoises)
9 Foot Male Granite Burm (Just a big baby!)
6 Foot Female Yellow Anaconda (Very aggressive!)
Female Albino Green Burm (She was mean as #$!#$!#$!#$! the first week I had her, now is extremely tame)
5 Foot Male Hog Island Boa
Adult Male Pueblan Milksnake
2 Foot Female Broadbanded Copperhead (The photo's a little blurry because she kept striking at me and trying to get away.)
"Tito", my 14 inch male Sulcata (The smartest herp I have ever owned, without a doubt. I used to keep him inside before I moved to my new house, and he would open the refrigerator looking for food, among other things. He was litter trained also.)
Subadult male Russian Tortoise (I also have a female. The male comes running at me when I have food.)

Awesome pics. What tortoise would recommend for somebody who has no experience with them?

I really like the sulcatas, but they grow fast and need alot of outdoor space to graze. And they eat a ton! You need a shovel to clean up their droppings! The only other kind I've owned are Russians. They are a good choice because they stay small and are easy to care for. Sulcatas are pretty shy, but Russians seem to be more outgoing. With Russians though, there are more wild caught ones on the market than captive bred, so make sure they seem alert and healthy. But if you've never owned a tortoise, I guarantee you'll love 'em! I think they're the reptile equivalent of a puppy!
