ya kidna used to it. my old 8 foot red tail i got as a rescue always bit me but i didnt care i just kept tryin and trying she ended up being a sweetheart before those @$#%$ killed her

I have heard that they have behavioral problems when they get older. But i figure once they get so heavy people don't take them out as much and lack of handling shows. But I'm not certain.

I've only come in concact with the aforementioned Sophie, but she is an awesome snake! She is a lot of work because she is a very picky eater and such a needy thing but she really is SO doclie and eays to handle. I would love to have one someday, when I have the space for a nice big cage. Good luck!
