Childrens python?

does anyone have a children's python. I was looking at them online and really like their coloring and size. I was wondering if anyone might have experience with their temperament?

I have a Cape York Spotted Python that I think is pretty much a match size and pattern wise BUT as we all know just because it looks like somehting (ie another snake) doesnt always mean they act the same. Mine is very docile...had him since he was like 5 inches long. So hes been handeled since he was a worm.

We had a Childrens python at my work. He was the sweetest thing. When I started working at the pet store I was scared of snakes. This snake changed my mind, and really warmed me up to the idea. I wanted to get him but had to wait until I moved out. By that time he was sold.

The lady who bought him fell head over heals. She said the only problem she had with him was that he was an escape artist and every once and a while she'd find him in her bed.

When we got him at the pet store he was young and we handled him alot. Thats definitely the key to a great pet.... great handling. Good luck with your search
