My ball python took her first rat pup today!!!!
I put it in with a couple of mice for a few minutes and then offered her the rat pup. I just had her on adult mice before this.

Boas are among the gentlest of the larger snakes. I highly recommend them. They can also eat rats (multiple ones) as they get bigger. I have never seen another snake that is quite as laid back as a ball python, but Columbian boas come pretty close.

I bought a Salmon Boa. She seem laid back but it's a juvy. She is 22" long and eating hoppers. Likes to barry herself under her bedding.
