I just went to the reptile shop and a lady and her son bought the red tail boa that I wish I could have bought. They were replacing a 10' boa that was just killed by a jumbo rat that the dumb dad left in the cage over night. I was mad so I told the lady that it would have never happened if you would have killed the rat first. (That's putting it lightly on what I said!) Hope there new boa doesn't go through all of that since I wanted it and know it's a cool snake since I held it.

That is terrible! I hope their new boa does not meet the same fate as the last one. Hopefully they will look into what you told them, and change their ways.

No doubt! The new one is so dosile. I held it the other week for about a half hour. Now I really wish I had the space for it knowing who bought it. I almost feel that they think snakes are just replaceable or something. Hate bad pet owners!

Thats what this person obviously needed to be told and its nice you said it I dont care how you put it! Seriously if more people would say what they know is right in these situations it would help snakes and educate morons who do this #$!#$!#$!#$! then think its cool to just "replace" the snake and not become more educated before they do !! Lets hope what you said sank in !!

I couldn't agree more! If I owned that shope I would have made them buy at least one good book on boa's first then have them come back and answer a few questions that I would ask them before the would be able to buy another snake. But you know they would have just left my shop if I had one and go down the street and buy from someone else.
