It's too bad about your burm and all that you went through, it must have been really hard. We live and learn, especially about what people are capable of!
Some people are OK, and it looks like you are one of them for caring so much, and trying your best.

Thank you (and everyone else). Yeah.., people suck!! Especially from a nice guys point of view. If I had the chance to run a reptile rescue I would but the wife already has an animal rescue that she has had for 10yrs that we run out of the house so time and well, room for that matter, is taken up with that for the most part plus we both work full time (me sometimes 70hrs a week) and we have a 5 month old baby girl as well. Alot of people who win the lottery would want to take it easy for the rest of their lives. We'd build a rescue community with an in house vet for reptiles and mammals of all kinds.
Like right now we rescued a 2yr old american alligator that lived in a (get this..), a 10 gallon aquarium. We took it just to get it out of that lifestyle of not being able to swim or for that matter, grow. Now we need to find a place for him that he can mature properly. Someones gotta do it right? Just sometimes you get burned in the process. Gibson will be missed!
