wish i had good news
Its been a while since i've posted or logged on for that matter. I'd like to thank each and everyone of you who have contributed and/or who were concerned with my adopted burm. Sadly I am posting in this forum for a reason. what it comes down to is i adopted a sick snake unbeknownst to me other then the fact that they said one of their reptiles had a mild RI but he was quarantined. Well my burm developed phenomena as a result even with all the antibiotic shots I was giving him every night and kept him in the best ideal conditions I could to help him recover. It bothers me for a number of reasons. First and foremose he was reallly sweet. He didn't deserve this and I didn't deserve to lose a friend. I think the people I got him from knew a bit more what was going on with him and I didn't know enough to catch on quick enough. It wouldn't surprise me if HE was in fact, the one with the RI and they just pawned the situation off on me. I still would have taken him.. right to the vet!! Maybe I should have anyways.. hinde sight is 20/20. I did what I could thats all I can say. Again, thanks to all of you for the wealth of information this board has. I will still be around. I still have my Ig and two balls. Oh and an american alligator but i'm looking for a sanctuary for him
