He he cool idea...
This was not my first bite, but certainly the worst so far, because he held on and wrapped up my hand..
Caused purely by my own stupidity, I had rats defrosting on the floor...reached in to grab Delko, a 3' Nicaraguan male...
Such an innocent face, LOL...I should have known better....
He grabbed me and squeezed before I even realize he had started to move...was halfway to the kitchen sink before he let go...guess I wasn't very tasty, LOL...
You can see he got both upper sets of teeth in me...hurt pretty good where the bone is close to the surface on my hand...
This taught me to touch no one on feeding day....

Yeah the anticoagulants in their saliva make it look like you'll lose the hand...
Defensive bites I've gotten from smaller babies seem to itch worse than anything....

I am SO in this club.. Hahaha.. I have had a lot of animals bite me. I should have started tallying long ago. I mean.. do I go by species that I have been bit by.. or by actual bite count.

Hahah, I am sure it is something similar.
Ironic timing! I was just going to start one today since it didnt seem we had one yet. and I DID get nailed today, not just nailed, but nailed and wrapped [10x better, right?]
Story: So I had defrosted some rat fuzzies for the baby/juvie snakes to feed today. My last batch that I picked up was kinda janky, missing tails and legs and stuff, so I am throwing them in the tubs [you really gotta love colombian boas, any snake that will chow down while in deep shed, is a snake that will never refuse a meal, and thus I love] I am working my way up the rack, and normally, I dont use tongs, I just hold the rat by the tail over the side of the tub, so my hand is protected by the tub. [haha, i am stupid and lazy] but since they dont all have tails, I have to hold the NUB, which makes my fingers considerably closer to the target. One of my yearling riobravo caulkers misses the rat completely and gets my thumb instead [similar in size and texture haha] and wraps. Woot, feels awesome! I was about to dip it in the bowl of luke warm water to encourage her to let go, but I think her getting picked up while biting something was good enough, she let go and I snapped a quick pic. or david did.... Ill post it later.
