San Jose Reptile Show !!
The annual San Jose Reptile show is coming next weekend!! [November 4th and 5th] We will be vending again, and hope to see everyone there! Stop by an introduce yourself if we don't already know you, and just say hi if we do
We wont have -as- many animals at this show, but I am scrambling so that we will *hopefully* have a decent selection of reptile PICTURES!! The Sacramento show was a blast, and if enough people go maybe we can hook up after the show some night and get dinner and a beer or something? I am not familar with the San Jose area so I dont know where would be good to meet up, but I would love to! I know there are lots of local people here!
I hope to see everyone there! Here is info about the show, and the place to download your $1 off coupon!

Hahah, I am glad you made it! It was a good show. I sold out of leachies almost right away [maybe nanihokuahi will post pics of her new addition!] and tho it was smaller then Sacramento, we still had a good time. Goals are for next year : Anaheim, Tinley Park, Daytona, Portland, Sacramento, San Jose, and maybe some other small local shows.

Did you sell more on the second day than the first? Also, did a Mexican couple buy a Boa off you? They said they might go and buy a boa, so commanded them to purchase one from you guys.

haha, no, the only boa we sold was to a girl who had a ball python, and she was with her dad [she already seemed very well versed in care, okay with the size, etc] You should TOTALLY make business cards for RTC. I would hand them out/staple them to sales receipts
The first day I sold the leachies, which paid for the show and hotel room [almost exactly] I sold 2 cheap cresteds, and david sold a cheap leo, and a medium leo. so after that, we really didnt make much. Hopefully next year we will have more awesomely cool stuff. and boas produced by US, and hopefully not any morphs on consignment
OH! something you might find funny ahah. A guy randomly came up to me and started asking me about argentine boas. I pointed him to randy wright, and he was asking what they looked like as adults, etc. He actually grabbed one, BROUGHT IT OVER TO ME to look at, and give my opinion on. Hahah, I of course said it was beautiful, I did JUST buy a girl off him at the sac show..
Speaking of which, your boy ate, and 3 days in, no puking yet lets keep our fingers crossed!

YAY!!! Tamara, I need to post pics of the new little guy soon. I am sooo happy with him. My boyfriend and I are fighting over names right now, but to be sure it will be announced shortly. Other than that, the show was awesome. I ended up going back today with the boyfriend and had to leave my money at home (especially after spending so much the day before. I made off with one of Tamara's leachies a new enclosure for my cham and a few other tidbits. (luckily I only live 4 blocks from where it was) Good times.
