Northern California Exotic Bird & Supply Expo
Looks like it's mainly birds, but the Reptile Room from Hayward will be there. $6 to get in. I'll probably be there since my good friend is a bird nut.

Looks like fun, but I probably won't go since it's focused mostly on birds.

We have been asking for more reptile vendors and presently there will be 4 reptile vendors at the May 18th Pleasanton show - The Reptile Room, Snakes of Distinction, GBU Enterprises and The Reptile Company. We hope to be able to move into the largest building and have half dedicated to the reptile vendors. We would also like to have some hermit crab & frog vendors, if you know of any such people that may like to be a vendor please let us know. Thanks

One other tid bit ~ check the web page, there is a free raffle for an mp3 player. Just print & fill out the coupon and bring it with. Northern California Exotic Bird & Supply Expo

I plan on going. I think showing up for the reptiles will show them that WE WANT MORE REPTILES!

Well, it was a nice day for the show! The largest reptile vendor we had was a no-show, no-call... And we had 3 other no-shows :( We had a nice raffle table... Many Donations from the bird vendors... And just so we didn't only have bird things I put in a new 'red' 7'x7' coleman dome tent! We had some vendors with the cutest puppies!! The Reptile Room from Hayward was GREAT!! They had a large Tortoise there and they slapped a 'Vendor' sticker on the top of it's shell and he cruised the show. I was worried some little kid might decide to take a ride. I got some great pictures of the two large tegu's (tagu's??). Got a few good pics of the big fuzzy spiders (I know the name, just not how to spell it, and not too interested in knowing how). I can spell arachnophobia!! And that should be sufficient info!! Well, the Sept show will probably be more scarce on the reptiles. Two of the reptile vendors present said they already have obligations on the date of our September show. So, I guess I'm kinda back to the drawing board for reptile vendors at the next show. Any ideas anyone????
