ATB after shed pix
Each close encounter is an adventure. He wedged himself into the log, and it took about 20 minutes to coax him out. That was of course "picture time".
Notice the slightly evil "fire in the eyes" look.
Climbing up the hook  I think he is just playing with me.

I really think they have a lot to offer. They come in more colors than any other snake species, and they never get big enough to be really dangerous or need a huge enclosure. Also, they're cheaper to feed than other boas. Young ones are OK to hold as long as you move slowly and learn how to read them. I'm nervous of this guy because I got him as an adult. and he has quite a reach. At least you can safely hold a small one at arm's length, and you know your face is safe.

See I like snakes I can hold but they are soo awesome lookin I just can't keep thinking about getting one maybe after a new boa or Blood??
